These FAQ are applicable to weddings and engagement photography sessions. Commercial sessions vary from projects to projects so please contact us directly for any queries.
Q: What is ’boutique’ photography studio?
A: Our wedding photography studio is ’boutique’ rather than ‘commercial’. We shoot strictly 40 weddings per year. This allows our photographers to be continually creative and allows us to also have enough time to provide you with the amount of service that you deserve. Our spots fill in pretty quickly especially in the months between September to April, so hurry to secure your wedding date.
Q: How many photographs will I get on the event day?
A: We aim to give you as many good photos as possible for your wedding day as we know how special these moments are for you! Every event is different, but we generally are able to generate approx. 60-100 images/shooting hour. Ie, if you hire us for 5 hours and we do not spend too much time travelling between locations, you can expect approx. 300-500 beautiful images!
Q: Are the photographs retouched?
A: All the photographs that are supplied to you have been beautifully colour-managed in house, that is why there is a turnaround time of approximately 8 weeks before you get your photographs. 99% of the photographs you see on our blog are what our brides and grooms receive on their Hi-Res DVD. All images purchased under ‘masterpiece’ category have a more intricate air brushing/retouching treatment to turn the photograph into a polished, magazine quality masterpiece artwork.
Q: Do I have to provide crew meals for the photographers?
A: Absolutely. Our wedding photographers are very dedicated and they work very hard for you. A little kindness to show your appreciation for them will go a very very long way.
Q: What happens when your photographer is sick or unable to shoot our event?
A: We hold high respect for your special day and will inform you at the earliest sign of possible inconvenience to allow you as much time as possible to weigh your options. We will either provide an alternative in house photographer or refund your deposits and you are free to find another photographer.
Q: How long does it take for me to receive my photographs?
A: For weddings it will take approximately 8 weeks. Engagement sessions will take approximately 6 weeks.
Q: Are your prices negotiable?
A: We believe in providing the best price for every single one of our clients as we dearly believe that every client deserves the same best treatment and value in their packages so the published price is already the best price.
Q: Can you travel interstate/overseas?
A: At the moment we are concentrating ONLY in Sydney and surrounding areas and NSW regional. We will be accepting interstate and overseas in the near future.
